EB-5 WorldWide (EB5WW), an EB-5 Investment conglomerate based in the Baltimore-Washington metropolitan area, has announced that it received approval for a third affiliated EB-5 Regional Center in the Midwest. The third Regional Center, Midwestern Investments for America (MIFA), expands upon the Mid-Atlantic designations of affiliated Regional Centers Oriental Dolphins Investments (ODI) and American National Immigration and Education Center (AMNIEC). With this most recent designation, EB5WW estimates that it could bolster economic activity through the EB-5 Immigrant Investor Program in Washington, DC as well as areas in Maryland, Virginia, West Virginia, Delaware, and now both Pennsylvania and Ohio.
The EB-5 Immigrant Investor Program allows foreign nationals to receive permanent resident status by investing a minimum of $500,000 into a project that creates and sustains at least 10 jobs per investor within two years of such investor’s entry into the United States. EB5WW is now affiliated with three Regional Centers, which are authorized by United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS), to establish qualifying EB-5 projects and match eligible foreign investors to those investments.
EB5WW and its affiliates work with a diverse range of projects including residential real estate, commercial developments, and healthcare operations. EB5WW offers developers full EB-5 services from structuring the deal to marketing and investor services.
“MIFA’s approval enables our firm to further our mission to bring accessible, safe investment to communities that merit revitalization throughout the Mid-Atlantic and Midwest, and to enable foreign entrepreneurs and their families to pursue the American Dream,” says M. Kate Weaver, Senior Vice President of EB-5 WorldWide, Inc. and President of Fifth Management and Consulting, who manages a number of affordable housing complexes in the Mid-Atlantic.
EB5WW is affiliated with a growing number of EB-5 Regional Centers, property management companies, and immigration service firms in the Mid-Atlantic and Midwestern United States. EB5WW provides immigration and real estate consulting and has a worldwide presence, including international offices in China and South Korea.
