The Vintage is Valor Development’s newest multifamily offering. Comprised of 85 well-appointed units, The Vintage combines the luxury feel of a boutique hotel with the well thought out amenities of a large scale community. Conveniently located in the heart of Mount Pleasant, just 2 blocks from DCUSA Center and the Columbia Heights Metro, The Vintage truly has it all.
The Vintage involves the redevelopment of the Meridian Hill Baptist Church, which was built in 1917 and damaged by a fire in March 2008. The project will result in an 8-story mid-rise apartment complex consisting of 85 multi-family dwelling units, and a total of 51,814 square feet of net rentable area. The rear building of the church has been demolished and the church itself will be renovated into a common space and new multi-family units. The historic church façade will be maintained.
The Vintage has exceptional access to a bustling downtown Washington, DC and is less than 2.5 miles from the White House, four blocks away from the Columbia Heights Metrorail station, and with The Vintage's adjacent bus station provides complete access to the Washington, DC metro area, including Maryland, DC, and Virginia.
Oriental Dolphins Investments Regional Center provided $4,000,000 in EB-5 financing to The Vintage project, which expects to complete construction in May, 2016.
The apartment complex will include many amenities, such as a rooftop deck, fitness center, multiple resident lounges, e-bar, game room, dog washing station, bike room, and a front desk and concierge service. Furthermore, each unit will contain standard appliances and amenities, which include a dishwasher, range/oven, built-in microwave, frost-free refrigerator, garbage disposal and stackable washer/dryer. The developer has proposed numerous improvements for the property from landscaping to fire protection to interior and mechanical detail.
